Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Jaime Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão Gaspar hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SC Tavarede's Albertino Resende got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Albertino Resende, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Tavarede's Jaime Moreira got a free kick in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Tiago Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 played minutes Cantelaes got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Leite. Lúcio Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Álvaro Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Tavarede's Abel Viana got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Leite in the 63rd minute of play forced SC Tavarede's goalkeeper Álvaro Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lúcio Matias had great luck who in the 67thth minute grab hold of the ball when Abel Viana from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Cantelaes's zone, Cristóvão Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Matias came out of the goal and Cristóvão Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiago Leite hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Tavarede booed when Cantelaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Tavarede getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Albertino Resende hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
