Bernardo Caldas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Catarino Henriques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Caldas having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Brás made a kick off. Bernardo Caldas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Catarino Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes SLB.forever got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Vital. Catarino Henriques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Caldas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Bernardo Caldas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Afonso Morais's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Caldas was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Nuno Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bernardo Caldas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SLB.forever's Bernardo Caldas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Catarino Henriques in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Conquistadores FC were the better team. Conquistadores FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
