In the last second Aloísio Bezerra throw himself and got hold of the ball when Vítor Tavares in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 11 minutes into the match, Serpa FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Bezerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Freitas. If Xavier Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SC Alfeiria's Vítor Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xavier Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Aloísio Bezerra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Serpa FC's zone, Vítor Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Bezerra came out of the goal and Vítor Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Vítor Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serpa FC's Aloísio Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Serpa FC from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Vítor Tavares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Alfeiria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Tavares in the 37th minute of play forced Serpa FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Freitas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aloísio Bezerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Serpa FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Vítor Tavares scored to the left of an out of position Aloísio Bezerra, making the score, 2-0. Nuno Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Mendonça in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Alfeiria's zone, Bento Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Coelho came out of the goal and Bento Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Abrantes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xavier Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Bezerra having to interfere. A collision led to Serpa FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fernando Abrantes hit a great ball. If Xavier Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Vítor Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Alfeiria's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aloísio Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Vítor Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aloísio Bezerra was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 78th match minute, SC Alfeiria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Aloísio Bezerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Luz went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Tavares in the 96th minute of play forced Serpa FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Alfeiria's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
