After having played for 60 minutes, Altino Camacho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Soutelinhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Altino Camacho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aparício Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Figueiredo having to interfere. If Joaquim Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aparício Mesquita in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Figueiredo saved MC United from getting behind. Pedro Rebelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Neto in the 75th minute of the match. Humberto Silva's late challenge caught a SC Soutelinhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Silva helped the player get up and apologised. Humberto Silva hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Altino Camacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rogério Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, MC United's José Coelho made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Rebelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MC United had won after a very even match.
