In the 30th minute, Altino Camacho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aparício Mesquita got free with António Dantas in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Aparício Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Soutelinhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Aparício Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Altino Camacho struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. António Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Soutelinhos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aparício Mesquita in the 47th minute of play forced Campanario FC's goalkeeper António Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aparício Mesquita to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored SC Soutelinhos's protests and gave Amado Ponte a yellow card for diving instead. Amado Ponte kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Mariano Santarém in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Rebelo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mariano Santarém struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Pedro Rebelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campanario FC. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Campanario FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
