Cristiano Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Alexandrino Vargas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Souto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Pelariga booed when SC Pousadinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Salazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Alex Cerqueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Porfírio Taborda was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Porfírio Taborda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Cerqueira in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Madureira made the kick off in the second half. Alex Cerqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Alex Cerqueira in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Pelariga getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Hipólito Bulhosa hit a great ball. Porfírio Taborda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Cerqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Pelariga booed when SC Pousadinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Boaventura didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Pousadinhas's Cristiano Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Madureira in the 68th minute of play. Alex Cerqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porfírio Taborda having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Pelariga's Rodrigo Madureira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Porfírio Taborda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Cerqueira in the 80th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Pelariga got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Madureira. Tarcísio Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porfírio Taborda having to interfere. After 93 played minutes SC Pousadinhas got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Boaventura. Pelariga's Porfírio Taborda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Cerqueira in the 96th minute of play. Despite being the better team, SC Pousadinhas failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
