Manuel Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dário Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Afonso Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dário Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Xavier Boaventura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dário Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Nunes in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dário Fonseca saved Ladreda FC from getting behind. Peixeninho's Manuel Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Manuel Nunes struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Dário Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peixeninho. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ladreda FC's goalkeeper Dário Fonseca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Josué Pimentel kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quintino Bento was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Homero Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Xavier Boaventura came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ladreda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Boaventura couldn't finish the play. Dário Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Nunes's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Afonso Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dário Fonseca. Ladreda FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dário Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Afonso Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Afonso Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, Afonso Amorim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dário Fonseca. Afonso Amorim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Peixeninho's zone, Quintino Bento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Borba came out of the goal and Quintino Bento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Manuel Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ladreda FC's Dário Fonseca got control of the ball when Afonso Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peixeninho's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
