Alberto Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerónimo Fernandes having to interfere. The Ciladas fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Ciladas's Francisco Soares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Art Interiores's Jerónimo Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Art Interiores from getting a goal against them. Raul Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Zarco's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Soares in the 25th minute of play forced Art Interiores's goalkeeper Jerónimo Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Adalberto Aveiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adalberto Aveiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Raul Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Aveiro in the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Art Interiores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Jordão to maneuver through the defense. When Alberto Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ciladas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Art Interiores's Jerónimo Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Soares in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Soares to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ciladas booed when Art Interiores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gusmão Padilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ciladas's Nuno Viana tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, João Santiago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jerónimo Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerónimo Fernandes having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Art Interiores's Maurício Paião tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Carlos Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Art Interiores's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Soares came free, but Jerónimo Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Alberto Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerónimo Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerónimo Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Adalberto Aveiro in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raul Alves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 84 minutes into the match, Art Interiores's Adalberto Aveiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerónimo Fernandes having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ciladas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Art Interiores had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
