Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Virgílio Figueiras got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match Nuno Monteiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nélson Saldanha skillfully saved the ball. Virgílio Figueiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Leiria having to interfere. If Bruno Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nélson Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Araújo in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Emanuel Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Virgílio Figueiras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Cunha hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Soudos's Viriato Brito got a free kick in the 31st minute. Manuel Leiria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Figueiras in the 32nd minute of the match. Paulo Machado scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nélson Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Soudos's Manuel Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Figueiras in the 42nd minute of play. Bruno Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Nélson Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Machado went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Bruno Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Nélson Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of SC Bragança:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Soudos:s goal. After some careless play in the SC Bragança defense, António Sá kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nélson Saldanha. The SC Bragança fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nélson Saldanha should have stopped the shot. When Caetano Mota fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bragança's protests and gave Caetano Mota a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, SC Bragança was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Mota to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nélson Saldanha having to interfere. Paulo Machado took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nélson Saldanha. Nélson Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Manuel Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Figueiras in the 78th minute of play. When Caetano Mota was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. Caetano Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Bragança's zone, Paulo Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nélson Saldanha came out of the goal and Paulo Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Soudos's Bruno Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nélson Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nélson Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Paulo Machado scored 5-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nélson Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Soudos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
