Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Valente got the match started through his kick off. Carlos Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucas Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Medinilla kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Festas in the 21st minute of play forced Atiaes's goalkeeper Nuno Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute João Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Onofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Carlos Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. António Onofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Nogueira scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Mendes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute, Atiaes's Lucas Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind António Onofre. António Onofre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Carlos Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Nogueira was the one to do the kick off. Lucas Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atiaes's Nuno Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilídio Estrada in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Pereira during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Atiaes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Nogueira in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Américo Festas got free with Nuno Mendes in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 62 minutes, Lucas Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atiaes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucas Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Onofre having to interfere. Carlos Valente might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over António Onofre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Valente ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Américo Festas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Nuno Mendes made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Américo Festas got free with Nuno Mendes in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Baleia FC booed when Atiaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Medinilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
