Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lustosa's Bento Regalado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Queirós in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Freitas in the 6th minute of play forced Lustosa's goalkeeper Bento Regalado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Viriato Calado notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Asseiceira FC's Nuno Lisboa. Nuno Lisboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hildeberto Trigueiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nuno Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Asseiceira FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bernardo Queirós hit a great ball. If Hildeberto Trigueiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nuno Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Asseiceira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Freitas couldn't finish the play. Afonso Campelo hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Abreu to strike the kick off in the second half. Lustosa's Bento Regalado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Lustosa from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Lustosa's Hugo Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Lisboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Donato Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Freitas got free with Bento Regalado in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nuno Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hildeberto Trigueiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Asseiceira FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Queirós. André Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Regalado having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Asseiceira FC's goalkeeper Nuno Lisboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Asseiceira FC's André Faro got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Asseiceira FC's zone, Hugo Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Lisboa came out of the goal and Hugo Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 97 minutes, André Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asseiceira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lustosa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
