Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eusébio Vilela kicked off to start the match. S. C. Laranjeiras's Eduardo Peseiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Porto in the 4th minute of play. Eduardo Peseiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Porto in the 5th minute of play. Laranjeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Costa came free, but Eduardo Peseiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Eusébio Vilela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Peseiro having to interfere. S. C. When Isidro Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S. C. Laranjeiras's protests and gave Isidro Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes S. C. Laranjeiras got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Cruz. 25 minutes into the match, S. C. Laranjeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Porto came free, but Eduardo Peseiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to S. C. Laranjeiras getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Kevin Carvalheira hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, S. C. Laranjeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Monteiro came free, but Eduardo Peseiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Nuno Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Peseiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Porto was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Giesteira booed when S. C. Laranjeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Carvalheira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, S. C. Laranjeiras's goalkeeper Eduardo Peseiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Costa. 53 minutes into the game, one of S. C. Laranjeiras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Alexandre Costa came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Giesteira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Costa couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Alexandre Costa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of S. C. Laranjeiras's Eduardo Peseiro. Eduardo Peseiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexandre Costa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Eduardo Peseiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nuno Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Peseiro having to interfere. Eduardo Peseiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes in the game, Nuno Porto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eduardo Peseiro having to interfere. When Alexandre Costa came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Giesteira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Costa couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Peseiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Porto's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Alexandre Costa could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Eduardo Peseiro however easily saved by the left post. Nuno Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Eduardo Peseiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Eduardo Peseiro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Nuno Porto in the 97thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Giesteira played a much better game than S. C. Laranjeiras and deserved their victory. The S. C. Laranjeiras players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
