Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Angélico Araújo started the match with the kick off. António Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jorge Granja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Santos made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Bernardo Alvarenga sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to SO eu getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. João Lemos hit a great ball. If António Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jorge Granja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of SO eu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Peneda FC:s goal. The referee gave Peneda FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by José Barbosa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SO eu's Jorge Granja. 0-1. Jorge Granja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Granja having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Angélico Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peneda FC's Gustavo Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angélico Araújo in the 28th minute of play forced Peneda FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when António Santos sped through SO eu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Granja. Gustavo Santos made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Bernardo Alvarenga sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of SO eu booed when Peneda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Angélico Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the SO eu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angélico Araújo couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ricardo Ramos made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SO eu's Jorge Granja got control of the ball when António Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Granja was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from José Barbosa. José Barbosa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Jordão Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ricardo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Granja came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Peneda FC's António Santos. But to his dismay, António Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. António Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jorge Granja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ricardo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Granja having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Peneda FC's zone, Angélico Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Santos came out of the goal and Angélico Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the SO eu defense, António Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Granja. The SO eu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Granja should have stopped the shot. When Ricardo Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peneda FC's protests and gave Ricardo Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Peneda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Ramos to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Peneda FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SO eu throughout the match.
