Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) David Trindade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gentil Regueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasco Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Trindade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palhoca's Rui Matos got a free kick in the 8th minute. Idalécio Gouveia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristiano Carvalho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Palhoca's Rui Matos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Idalécio Gouveia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Coto's Gentil Regueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Trindade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Alcino Roriz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Idalécio Gouveia came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Palhoca's Rui Matos. But to his dismay, Rui Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 28th minute Valentim Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Idalécio Gouveia came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Palhoca's Rui Matos. But to his dismay, Rui Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Palhoca's Oliveira Bessa got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Vasco Silveira struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. David Trindade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coto. A collision led to Palhoca getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cristiano Carvalho hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Palhoca's Rui Matos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. Gabriel Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Viriato Jesus lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 43rd minute, one of Palhoca:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palhoca. Palhoca:s David Trindade showed great skill when he stopped Martinho Toscano:s penalty. Vasco Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Matos made a kick off. Coto's Idalécio Gouveia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliveira Bessa in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Coto's zone, Rui Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Idalécio Gouveia came out of the goal and Rui Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Idalécio Gouveia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Matos in the 70th minute of the match. Abel Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Coto got a freekick which was hit by Abel Reis. Vasco Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Trindade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Gentil Regueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. David Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but David Trindade made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Palhoca had won after a very even match.
