Dadim's Elias Bentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Mendes in the 23rd minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Dadim's goal looked a bit too open when Torcato Rangel came free, but Elias Bentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dadim's Mariano Onofre got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Herberto Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Torcato Rangel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Bentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes SC Aviz got a freekick which was hit by Valentim Brochado. In the 47thth minute of the game Torcato Rangel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dadim's Elias Bentes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guilherme Mendes to make the kick off. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elias Bentes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torcato Rangel in the 87th minute of play forced Dadim's goalkeeper Elias Bentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
