João Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Bentes having to interfere. When Cristiano Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the SC Lobel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Sousa couldn't finish the play. After 8 played minutes SC Lobel got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Setúbal. Cristiano Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Bentes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dadim's Danilo Igrejas got a free kick in the 13th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Isac Calçada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dadim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Lobel the free kick. Isac Calçada hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. João Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Bentes having to interfere. Cristóvão Brandão hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to Dadim getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mariano Onofre hit a great ball. Elias Bentes made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when João Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Nuno Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Bentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dadim's Elias Bentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Azevedo in the 57th minute of play. Elias Bentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Azevedo in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, João Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Bentes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. João Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isac Calçada kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. João Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Bentes having to interfere. João Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Bentes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the Dadim defense, João Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Bentes. The Dadim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Bentes should have stopped the shot. SC Lobel walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
