Torcato Rangel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th match minute, SC Lobel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Matos made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when João Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Fábio Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Azevedo went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. If João Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Cristiano Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Aviz's Fábio Matos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Eduardo Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Mendes in the 67th minute of play. Fábio Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When João Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the SC Lobel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Azevedo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SC Lobel booed when SC Aviz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teófilo Barroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute of the match, Torcato Rangel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eduardo Borges was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 80th minute, Torcato Rangel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 83 minutes into the match, SC Lobel's goalkeeper Eduardo Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torcato Rangel. In the 86th match minute, SC Lobel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Pires to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Herberto Lopes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Borges showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of SC Aviz booed when SC Lobel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball.
