The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Afonso Ferreira took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Eusébio Lopes to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th match minute, Lazaro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Neves to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Basílio Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Lopes having to interfere. Afonso Ferreira in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eusébio Lopes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Joaquim Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Pires in the 31st minute of play. Joaquim Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusébio Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Ferreira in the 96th minute of the match. Atlânticos F.C.'s Joaquim Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Atlânticos F.C. from getting a goal against them. There was no doubt that Atlânticos F.C. were the better team. Atlânticos F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
