In the 3rd minute, José Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute of the match Humberto Sousa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Adelino Assunção made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Silva. fc trofenses's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. José Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match Filipe Vieira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Grimancelos FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Alves came free, but Cristiano Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, fc trofenses's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Nogueira came free, but Pedro Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliveira Borges in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adelino Assunção went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 32 played minutes Grimancelos FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Vieira. In the 37th match minute, Grimancelos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Veiga to maneuver through the defense. José Pedroso's late challenge caught a Grimancelos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Pedroso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, fc trofenses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filipe Nogueira to make the kick off. If José Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 63rd minute of the match José Pedroso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave José Pedroso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. José Pedroso hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, fc trofenses's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Assunção came free, but Pedro Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Cristiano Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cristiano Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristiano Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Cristiano Brito made a huge save. Cristiano Brito was a little too slow when José Alves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 78th minute, José Alves fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cristiano Brito, passed just outside the right post. In the 83rd minute José Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bento Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Pedro Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grimancelos FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Vieira in the 87th minute of play forced fc trofenses's goalkeeper Pedro Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Sebastião Matias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Nogueira in the 91st minute of the match. Cristiano Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Brito having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
