Serraquinhos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viriato Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 8 played minutes, Serraquinhos FC's Marco Costa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Viriato Esteves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Serraquinhos FC reached it. Fernando Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Bernardo Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Nora FC booed when Serraquinhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Serraquinhos FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jorge Carneiro hit a great ball. Lourenço Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Nora FC booed when Serraquinhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Eusébio Brito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Garcia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lourenço Ferreira was the one to do the kick off. Nora FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eusébio Brito in the 54th minute. The corner led Nora FC's Eusébio Brito to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Garcia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 60th minute, Filipe Guarda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Serraquinhos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Nora FC's Vítor Vaz got a free kick in the 64th minute. Filipe Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Guarda succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 93 minutes into the match, Serraquinhos FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Antunes. 94 minutes into the match, Fernando Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Garcia. Serraquinhos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
