Medroa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Lisboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Lisboa struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Gaspar Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medroa FC. Xavier Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a left leg Gaspar Matos saved SC Molaredo from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Leal during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, SC Molaredo's Gaspar Matos got control of the ball when Alexandre Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrique Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Medroa FC's Alexandre Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Molaredo's Paulo Leal got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, SC Molaredo's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Lisboa came free, but Gaspar Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When Paulo Lisboa came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Medroa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Lisboa couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Paulo Lisboa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Medroa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. SC Molaredo's Gaspar Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Lisboa in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the SC Molaredo defense, Alexandre Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Matos. The SC Molaredo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Matos should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the game, Medroa FC's Paulo Lisboa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Matos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 82 minutes into the match, Medroa FC's goalkeeper Viriato Brás had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Moniz.
