Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Machio's Rodrigo Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Baptista in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Machio getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Manuel Nunes hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Assis during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfredo Assis hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes Machio's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was João Sá who took care of the corner kick. Tiago Baptista had several of the Machio's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Rodrigo Figueiredo as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Júlio Reis came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SC Aramanha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Reis couldn't finish the play. Marco Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Rodrigo Figueiredo made a huge save. Tiago Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Machio booed when SC Aramanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Delfim Reis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeu Torres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 40th minute, Jacinto Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delfim Reis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. During the 46th minute of the match Alfredo Assis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alfredo Assis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Rodrigo Figueiredo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from João Sá. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Marco Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Freitas's late challenge caught a SC Aramanha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Machio got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Freitas. After having played for 58 minutes, Tiago Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Aramanha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 86th minute Tiago Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Bessa during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marco Miranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Figueiredo having to make a save. Manuel Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Baptista in the 94th minute of play. Tiago Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Figueiredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Machio players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Aramanha.
