Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristóvão Maia started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Bicada getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Rui Santarém hit a great ball. The supporters of SC Fontela booed when Bicada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mário Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sebastião Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastião Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bicada's Sebastião Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Ramos in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, António Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Cruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastião Brito. Bicada's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlos Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. Oliveira Carvalho's late challenge caught a Bicada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliveira Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. Oliveira Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Carlos Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bruno Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Fontela's goalkeeper Bruno Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oliveira Carvalho got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience was convinced that Cristóvão Maia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Coelho was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Bicada's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. 71 minutes into the match, Bicada's Carlos Branco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Coelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastião Brito made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Mário Matos sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Fontela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Mário Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Coelho having to interfere.
