Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joaquim Almeida started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute of the match Manuel Mota shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Pereira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Rogério Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Sandro Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Moniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogério Guerreiro in the 17th minute. Carlos Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Manuel Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílcar Amaral hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Joaquim Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pereira having to interfere. A collision led to Ninaes getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Amílcar Amaral hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adelino Assis in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Moniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the game, Rafael Esteves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ninaes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medeiros FC the free kick. A collision led to Ninaes getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Rafael Esteves hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Joaquim Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medeiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquim Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ninaes's Adelino Assis got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Medeiros FC's goalkeeper José Moniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Ninaes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Almeida took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Pereira. Paulo Pereira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Medeiros FC's Joaquim Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
