Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rogério Leite took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rogério Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jorge Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. David Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Jaime Viana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Talharezes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Manhosa the free kick. In the 13th match minute, SC Talharezes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Viana to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, SC Manhosa's Joaquim Viana tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. David Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílcar Macedo during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Talharezes's Amílcar Macedo got a free kick in the 21st minute. Amílcar Macedo was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to SC Talharezes getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Amílcar Macedo hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, one of SC Talharezes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 32 minutes, Viriato Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Talharezes and the SC Manhosa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Santarém struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. David Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Manhosa. After 36 played minutes SC Talharezes got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Veiga. After having played for 37 minutes, Daniel Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Manhosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Santarém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Santarém in the 43rd minute of play forced SC Talharezes's goalkeeper David Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Lourenço Dias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Pinto was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Manhosa's goalkeeper Jorge Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lourenço Dias was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, SC Talharezes's goalkeeper David Pinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Santarém. If David Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lourenço Dias came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the SC Manhosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lourenço Dias couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SC Manhosa booed when SC Talharezes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Pinto came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Manhosa's Daniel Santarém. But to his dismay, Daniel Santarém quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Lourenço Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Talharezes's Viriato Veiga got a free kick in the 70th minute. Henrique Silva hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. SC Talharezes's Manuel Jesus couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Manhosa. 79 minutes into the match, SC Talharezes's goalkeeper David Pinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Santarém. SC Manhosa's Daniel Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaspar Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, SC Talharezes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Viana to maneuver through the defense. If Daniel Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Manhosa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
