Jorge Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristóvão Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jorge Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Araújo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lourenço Dias's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, SC Sortelha's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Dias came free, but Gonçalo Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, SC Manhosa's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Melo came free, but Jorge Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Campos in the 42nd minute of play forced SC Manhosa's goalkeeper Jorge Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Santarém might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonçalo Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. SC Sortelha played a much better game than SC Manhosa and deserved their victory. The SC Manhosa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
