Alfredo Lopes started the match with the kick off. Alfredo Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hélder Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Pacheco in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Ferro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Pacheco in the 18th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Lopes in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Ferro saved Amoroso FC from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Alfredo Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Amoroso FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nuno Moura hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Amoroso FC defense, Alfredo Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Ferro. The Amoroso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Ferro should have stopped the shot. Carlos Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Lopes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Ferro was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Amoroso FC's António Sousa got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Tiago Delgado's late challenge caught a Colarinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Delgado helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Amoroso FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Delgado. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Simões in the 52nd minute of play forced Amoroso FC's goalkeeper Jorge Ferro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alexandre Simões fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colarinha FC's protests and gave Alexandre Simões a yellow card for diving instead. Alexandre Simões hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Artur Jesus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viriato Lisboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Alexandre Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viriato Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Coelho hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A collision led to Colarinha FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Joaquim Viana hit a great ball. After 78 minutes, Carlos Pacheco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amoroso FC and the Colarinha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Amoroso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Lopes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Ferro. That made the score 0-2 in the 80 minute of play. Alfredo Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jorge Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joaquim Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Joaquim Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Amoroso FC's Tiago Delgado in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colarinha FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Amoroso FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Colarinha FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Colarinha FC.
