Cristiano Leal's late challenge caught a Beca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Leal helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes Toutosa got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Leal. 4 minutes into the match, Duarte Fontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Matias. Beca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duarte Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Soares in the 8th minute of play forced Toutosa's goalkeeper Manuel Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Manuel Mota managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Beca FC's Manuel Neves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Beca FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. João Garcia hit a great ball. Manuel Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Paulo Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 minutes, João Jesus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beca FC and the Toutosa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Beca FC got a freekick which was hit by João Jesus. Júlio Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Manuel Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes in the game, Júlio Soares dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Júlio Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Manuel Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Manuel Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Matias. Beca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Manuel Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Matias having to interfere. Paulo Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Fontes in the 42nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Júlio Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Mota was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half Toutosa were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 played minutes Beca FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Simões. Duarte Fontes struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Paulo Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toutosa. Duarte Fontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Paulo Matias made a huge save. Júlio Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toutosa's Manuel Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Soares in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Júlio Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toutosa's Duarte Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Fontess short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Paulo Matias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Toutosa's Manuel Cruz in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beca FC's goalie prevented a goal. Manuel Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th match minute, Beca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Jesus to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Toutosa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
