Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Diogo Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Ribeiro in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, SC Alfena's goalkeeper Diogo Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Pedroso. 8 minutes into the game, Augusto Pedroso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diogo Pinho. Augusto Pedroso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 12th minute Gabriel Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Amaral in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastião Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastião Lopes was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, Gabriel Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Lopes. SC Cesar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Augusto Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes SC Alfena got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Veiga. Diogo Pinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Augusto Pedroso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. Diogo Pinho made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Augusto Pedroso sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the SC Cesar defense, Alfredo Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastião Lopes. The SC Cesar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastião Lopes should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, one of SC Alfena:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Alfena. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augusto Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, SC Alfena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Moreira to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Adolfo Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Lopes having to interfere. When Gabriel Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the SC Alfena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Amaral couldn't finish the play. If Adolfo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Veiga's late challenge caught a SC Cesar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, SC Cesar's Ricardo Fernandes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gabriel Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sebastião Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastião Delgado struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Sebastião Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Alfena. After having played for 95 minutes, Augusto Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cesar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Pedroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Cesar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Alfena for a fine match.
