Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Avantos's Rui Carvalho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 11 minutes into the match, Rafael Cruz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Avantos's Artur Sá. Artur Sá was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Avantos's Artur Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Matos in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Rui Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute Rui Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Fontes during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joel Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Rui Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Esteves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Fontes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rogério Esteves. That made the score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. Emanuel Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Cruz was the one to do the kick off. Rui Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Esteves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, Parafita FC's Marco Matos made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Sá was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, Rafael Cruz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Artur Sá, 1-3. When Gil Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parafita FC's protests and gave Gil Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Leão in the 93rd minute of play forced Parafita FC's goalkeeper Rogério Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Parafita FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Parafita FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
