Corujeira FC's Paulo Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Corujeira FC from getting a goal against them. Paulo Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Carlos Soares sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Corujeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Tavares. 9 minutes into the match, Corujeira FC's goalkeeper Paulo Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Soares. After a rather tough play, Corujeira FC's Bernardo Tavares got a free kick in the 15th minute. Lúcio Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Borges in the 24th minute of the match. Vicente Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Aguiar having to interfere. Vítor Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Lúcio Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pedreda FC booed when Corujeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliveira Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Carlos Soares sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Teixeira having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vítor Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Soares in the 52nd minute of play forced Corujeira FC's goalkeeper Paulo Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Teixeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, João Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corujeira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lúcio Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 played minutes Corujeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Pinho. Afonso Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Paulo Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Carlos Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedreda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Corujeira FC's Vítor Carvalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lúcio Aguiar. That made the score 0-1 after 78 minutes of play. In the 84th minute, Sérgio Amaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Basílio Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corujeira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pedreda FC the free kick. After 94 played minutes Corujeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Moura. In the 96th minute Afonso Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Pedreda FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Corujeira FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Corujeira FC.
