Onia's Tomás Moreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Onia from getting a goal against them. Tomás Moreira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Coina's Bento Moreira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 29 minutes, Nuno Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Coina and the Onia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nuno Torres hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A collision led to Onia getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sérgio Assis hit a great ball. If Bento Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bento Moreira was the one to do the kick off. Filipe Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 53 played minutes SC Coina got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Aguiar. Hugo Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Matos in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bento Moreira's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 65 minutes in the game, Sérgio Assis fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hugo Santos having to interfere. When Catarino Correia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. In the 71st match minute, Onia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Correia to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the game, Augusto Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Onia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Coina the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sérgio Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Onia's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Assis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
