Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sorro's João Correia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amadeu Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Brito in the 2nd minute of play. The supporters of Sobralinho FC booed when Sorro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Pinho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amadeu Andrade firmly grabbed it by the left post. Duarte Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. José Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Pinho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amadeu Andrade firmly grabbed it by the left post. 19 minutes into the game, Alberto Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sobralinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorro the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Sobralinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Machado to maneuver through the defense. When João Correia came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Sorro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Correia couldn't finish the play. João Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Gomes having to interfere. Sobralinho FC's João Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, João Pinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amadeu Andrade, 1-1. With a little luck, Sorro's Amadeu Andrade got control of the ball when João Pinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Veiga in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Sorro getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gaspar Brás hit a great ball. Amadeu Andrade made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when João Pinho sent off a good shot on target. Duarte Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

João Pinho scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeu Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Correia in the 55th minute of the match. Sorro's Duarte Veiga came free and shot a quick shot against goal 59 minutes in the game, fortunately José Gomes had problems saving as it came toward the left post. João Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, João Correia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Gomes. The goal made the score 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Sorro's zone, João Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Andrade came out of the goal and João Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sobralinho FC's goalkeeper José Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mário Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Correia in the 80th minute of play. João Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Pinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeu Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. José Gomes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Correia went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Sobralinho FC booed when Sorro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeu Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Sobralinho FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sorro's performance. The match ended with a win for Sorro.
