Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Júlio Almeida got the match started through his kick off. Álvaro Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Leite in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Vítor Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Paiva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Afonso Queirós when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tomás Tavares's late challenge caught a Categal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. Tomás Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Cláudio Viegas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mala's Afonso Queirós didn't even have to move. In the 13th minute Júlio Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Álvaro Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júlio Paiva got free with Afonso Queirós in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Álvaro Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Almeida's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After 20 played minutes Categal FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Anjos. Álvaro Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Almeida in the 23rd minute of the match. Vítor Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Categal FC's Cláudio Viegas tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Afonso Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Fontes in the 31st minute of play. Júlio Paiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Paiva ran back to his position shaking his head. Emílio Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Álvaro Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Almeida in the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Almeida in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Miranda saved Categal FC from getting behind. Diamantino Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Miranda having to interfere.

After a rather tough play, Mala's Emanuel Carvalho got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Diamantino Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mala's supporters rose to their feet, but Diamantino Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlio Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Miranda having to interfere. Afonso Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Fontes in the 71st minute of play forced Mala's goalkeeper Afonso Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mala's Emanuel Carvalho got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Afonso Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mala's goalkeeper Afonso Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Álvaro Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diamantino Leite in the 79th minute. Diamantino Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Miranda having to interfere. Álvaro Miranda made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Diamantino Leite sent off a good shot on target. After 96 played minutes, Categal FC's Cláudio Viegas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afonso Queirós came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Categal FC reached it.
