SC Magueijinha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Vicente Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th match minute, SC Magueijinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Magueijinha getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Júlio Resende hit a great ball. SC Magueijinha's Alberto Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Andrade in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, SC Magueijinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Pereira to maneuver through the defense. If Vicente Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Andrade in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SC Magueijinha's Júlio Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. André Brás took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alberto Vaz. SC Magueijinha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Lagielas FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tiago Nogueira hit a great ball. Eusébio Magalhães, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Manuel Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. António Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Manuel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Andrade was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lagielas FC's Manuel Leão got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Vicente Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagielas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Vicente Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Vaz having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Luz during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Eusébio Magalhães sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lagielas FC's António Leão didn't even have to move. 79 minutes into the match, Lagielas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Aguiar came free, but António Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Manuel Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alberto Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 played minutes SC Magueijinha got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Cruz. Manuel Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Vaz having to interfere. Álvaro Cruz's late challenge caught a Lagielas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Álvaro Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Magueijinha's Álvaro Cruz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Viriato Pereira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of António Leão. Viriato Pereira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. SC Magueijinha's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
