Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Morais in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo Amaro saved Varadouro from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Varadouro's José Correia got a free kick in the 11th minute. Tomás Campos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gonçalo Amaro. Varadouro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Alfredo Morais cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gonçalo Amaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Catarino Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Freitas in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Freitas in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Catarino Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If António Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Morais in the 41st minute of play. Sérgio Brás charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sérgio Brás the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Celavisa FC's Sérgio Brás got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Morais stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Afonso Freitas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Catarino Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Varadouro's Basílio Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Celavisa FC's Alfredo Morais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonçalo Amaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. António Sá succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 73rd playminute. Catarino Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basílio Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Varadouro getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. José Correia hit a great ball. When Alfredo Morais came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Celavisa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Morais couldn't finish the play. If Afonso Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
