Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Varadouro's goalkeeper Gonçalo Amaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Magalhães. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Varadouro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafael Carneiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Nagosa FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Rafael Carneiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Varadouro's Gonçalo Amaro did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Machado in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonçalo Amaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Afonso Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Emanuel Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Américo Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Afonso Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Basílio Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varadouro's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Américo Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonso Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Américo Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Nagosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Freitas came free, but Américo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Freitas struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Américo Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varadouro. Basílio Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Freitas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Américo Cardoso having to make a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Coelho to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Basílio Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Américo Cardoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Varadouro getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. José Correia hit a great ball. The supporters of Varadouro booed when Nagosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basílio Carvalho got free with Américo Cardoso in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Varadouro's Gonçalo Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Machado in the 60th minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, Nagosa FC's Miguel Machado made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonçalo Amaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Basílio Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Américo Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Nagosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Freitas came free, but Américo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Varadouro's Afonso Freitas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Américo Cardoso. That made the score 1-2 after 80 minutes of play. Américo Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Amaro having to interfere. If Américo Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Varadouro's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Aleixo came free, but Gonçalo Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Varadouro's José Correia got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, Nagosa FC's Miguel Machado got a free kick in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Varadouro walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
