When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Morais was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nagosa FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomás Campos was slow to take the kick. During this time Celavisa FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Celavisa FC's corner Tomás Campos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Américo Cardoso quite easily take care of the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Tomás Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celavisa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nagosa FC the free kick. Américo Aleixo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Catarino Lopes made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Celavisa FC's goalkeeper Catarino Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo Aleixo. Vítor Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Américo Aleixos short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Catarino Lopes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Catarino Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Américo Aleixo in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, Celavisa FC's Catarino Lopes got control of the ball when Américo Aleixo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
