Daniel Esteves came out of the goal and Cândido Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Amoreira's Daniel Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Vale in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for SC Amoreira. Lourenço Sousa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gabriel Assunção. 1-0. Cristiano Gueifão hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Emanuel Nunes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Costa FC's Cândido Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some careless play in the SC Amoreira defense, Cândido Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Esteves. The SC Amoreira supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Costa FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Costa FC.
