The supporters of Larim FC booed when Cerquedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adelino Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Carneiro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Costa during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 minutes of play, Larim FC's Eusébio Baptista made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Larim FC's Nuno Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Neto in the 69th minute of play. Adelino Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
