Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Basílio Luz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Adelino Paredes, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. José Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Fontes having to interfere. André Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Porto in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Ferro FC's Paulo Pinto got control of the ball when Lúcio Domingues tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Jorge Porto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Raso's André Fontes. André Fontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Domingues got free with Paulo Pinto in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferro FC's Paulo Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Luz in the 29th minute of play. Paulo Pinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Luz's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basílio Luz in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Pinto saved Ferro FC from getting behind. Basílio Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Paulo Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Raso booed when Ferro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ferro FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. José Branco hit a great ball. In the 54th minute Basílio Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Porto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. André Fontes was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and José Branco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Branco really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Lúcio Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raso's André Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Branco in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, Raso's André Fontes got control of the ball when José Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lúcio Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute, Filipe Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Jorge Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Basílio Luz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Pinto. Ferro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basílio Luz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Paulo Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Luz in the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Ferro FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Veiga. After a defensive mix-up in Ferro FC's zone, Basílio Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Pinto came out of the goal and Basílio Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavier Faria struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Paulo Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raso. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ferro FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
