After a rather tough play, SC Sacorelhe's Hugo Campos got a free kick in the 17th minute. Delfim Dantas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Fernando Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Assis having to interfere. Carlos Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Joaquim Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Sacorelhe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chavelho the free kick. In the 31st match minute, SC Sacorelhe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Baptista scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Assis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Chavelho's Marco Porto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Assis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. António Ferro's late challenge caught a Chavelho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. António Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Fernando Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Baptista in the 40th minute of play. Marco Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fernando Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, SC Sacorelhe's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Baptista came free, but Fernando Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Baptista was the one to do the kick off. Xavier Amaral hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Mariano Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Fernando Assis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chavelho. Carlos Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Assis made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Marco Porto sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Baptista might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Assis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Hugo Campos sped through Chavelho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armindo Vale. 86 minutes into the match, Hugo Campos notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Chavelho's Armindo Vale. Armindo Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amadeu Ferro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Baptista in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Assis saved SC Sacorelhe from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inácio Resende during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Chavelho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Resende to maneuver through the defense. Many of Chavelho's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Chavelho may have spent more time on the ball, but SC Sacorelhe were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
