In the 5th minute, Bento Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuno Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Brás in the 9th minute of the match. When Manuel Brás came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Murtinheira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Brás couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Murtinheira booed when Tarouquela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Brás in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Lisboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Brás made a kick off. The audience held their breath when José Brás in the 98th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Nuno Lisboa's left hand side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
