Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Atiaes FC's Bernardo Pinho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cândido Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Francisco Guerreiro managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Atiaes FC's António Pedroso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 13th minute Bernardo Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cândido Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. João Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atiaes FC's João Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Nunes in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Viriato Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Atiaes FC's Bernardo Pinho in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Noval's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cândido Amaro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, SC Noval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Carlos Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Fernandes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Cândido Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Alves having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, SC Noval's Cândido Amaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bernardo Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Atiaes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Pinho couldn't finish the play. After 73 played minutes SC Noval got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Veiga. Francisco Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Pinho in the 75th minute of the match. António Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Cândido Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SC Noval booed when Atiaes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Porto hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes SC Noval got a freekick which was hit by André Neves. Inácio Aleixo's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Francisco Guerreiro on his right side and into the goal. 89 minutes into the game it was 2-1. Viriato Veiga hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Atiaes FC's Inácio Aleixo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Noval players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atiaes FC.
