Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) António Pedroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Humberto Vale made a huge save. Humberto Vale was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but António Pedroso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. The audience was convinced that João Lopes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Alves was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Emanuel Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Vasco Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the SC Coelhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Macedo couldn't finish the play. António Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Pinho in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Atiaes FC booed when SC Coelhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Pinho in the 19th minute of play forced SC Coelhos's goalkeeper Humberto Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Alves having to interfere. Bernardo Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when António Pedroso got free with Humberto Vale in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. João Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes Atiaes FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eduardo Trindade who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Vasco Macedo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If João Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Carlos Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Pinho made a kick off. João Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Pedroso in the 64th minute of play forced SC Coelhos's goalkeeper Humberto Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bernardo Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. SC Coelhos's Humberto Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Pinho in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atiaes FC's zone, Vasco Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Alves came out of the goal and Vasco Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, SC Coelhos's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Pinho came free, but Humberto Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, António Pedroso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Vale. SC Coelhos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that António Pedroso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. SC Coelhos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
