Diogo Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 6 minutes, Rogério Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lameirim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Assis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rogério Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soutolinho FC's Manuel Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Soutolinho FC from getting a goal against them. Luís Ribeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Ribeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Diogo Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Pacheco in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Assis in the 25th minute of play forced Soutolinho FC's goalkeeper Manuel Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Almeida hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Basílio Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogério Assis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Rogério Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lameirim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Assis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Reis's late challenge caught a Lameirim FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Reis helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquim Luz took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Azevedo. Manuel Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0.

The wind increased when Rogério Assis made the kick off in the second half. Basílio Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Diogo Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soutolinho FC. Manuel Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diogo Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Silva in the 57th minute of the match. When Filipe Silva came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Soutolinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Silva couldn't finish the play. Filipe Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diogo Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Filipe Silva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diogo Fonseca. That made the score 1-1 in the 73 minute of play. Lameirim FC's Diogo Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Lameirim FC from getting a goal against them. Joaquim Luz struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Manuel Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lameirim FC. Basílio Pacheco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogo Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Joaquim Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Azevedo having to interfere. Basílio Pacheco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Diogo Fonseca made a huge save.
