After 70 played minutes Conqueiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Almeida. Jaime Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bento Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, SC Rebelo's Eduardo Morais made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bento Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Conqueiros FC's Jaime Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th match minute, Conqueiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Soares to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
