After a defensive mix-up in SC Semide's zone, Eduardo Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Lopes came out of the goal and Eduardo Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of SC Semide:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Rebelo:s goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Morais was the one to do the kick off. Bento Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Moreira in the 54th minute of play. Júlio Maia charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Bento Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Coimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute, David Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Eduardo Morais took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Emanuel Lopes to make any attempt to save it. In the 82nd minute Eduardo Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ricardo Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Mendes having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, SC Semide's David Coimbra made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bento Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emanuel Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Morais in the 93rd minute of the match. Bento Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Coimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Lopes having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Rebelo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
