Lucas Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Simões in the 29th minute of the match. Chicharo's Emílio Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Nascimento in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chicharo's Pedro Guerreiro got a free kick in the 35th minute. Emílio Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Nascimento in the 41st minute of the match. Lucas Amorim didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bento Simões to make the kick off. José Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Amorim having to interfere. Emílio Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Nascimento in the 64th minute of play. If Gonçalo Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Lucas Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Emílio Resende successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chicharo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fernandaires FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
