In the 4th minute, Eusébio Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute of the match Armando Luz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Delgado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amadeu Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Albertino Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Silva in the 13th minute of the match. Nuno Delgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Cunha's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Joaquim Monteiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Albertino Moniz. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 30th minute, Artur Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Nuno Delgado. Capelo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With a little luck, Marujal's Albertino Moniz got control of the ball when Amadeu Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amadeu Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Artur Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marujal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capelo FC the free kick. After 46 played minutes Marujal got a freekick which was hit by Artur Cunha. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Monteiro made a kick off. Amadeu Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Moniz having to interfere. Marujal's Joaquim Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 61 played minutes Marujal got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Viegas. The attack was good, but when Joaquim Monteiro in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Albertino Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Monteiro in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Artur Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Delgado was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 73 minutes into the game, one of Marujal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Capelo FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Daniel Lopes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Monteiro in the 83rd minute of play forced Marujal's goalkeeper Albertino Moniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Joaquim Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capelo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Capelo FC's Nuno Delgado got control of the ball when Joaquim Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Marujal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Capelo FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
